This program has already taken place. A recording of the session will be available on SAR’s YouTube channel.

How do you find a publisher? Which press is right for your project? What else do publishers do?

In this new virtual series from SAR Press, director Sarah Soliz speaks with other editors in scholarly publishing to find out what kinds of resources and programs they can offer to our alumni community, as well as anyone interested in writing and publishing.

To kick off the series, Sarah will talk with Katie Stileman of PUP Speaks, a new in-house speakers’ agency at Princeton University Press that works with PUP authors “to develop global speaking platforms.” Join us to learn more about reaching a broad audience with your work, and bring your questions about academic publishing and PUP Speaks.

About the participants:

Katie Stileman oversees PUP Speaks and previously directed global publicity and author relations at MIT Press.

Sarah Soliz directs SAR Press and develops resources for SAR’s community of writers and readers.
