Come hear SAR President Michael F. Brown discuss SAR’s historic campus, El Delirio: past, present, and future; view a newly launched virtual campus tour; and learn about ways you can leave a legacy for SAR.

SAR scholar-in-residence Nancy Owen Lewis will take us through the origins of the buildings and the historical significance of the sprawling estate that is now SAR’s campus.

SAR members Russ and Diane Kyncl will share their fifty-year story of how they came to know about SAR and why they have included SAR in their legacy plans.

 Dan Merians, Senior Vice President at UBS Financial Services, Inc., will talk with us about some ways to help you think about estate planning involving tax-wise and values-driven strategies.

Dan Merians is a Senior Vice President – Wealth Management at UBS Financial Services, Inc. A Financial Advisor since 1997, Dan’s primary focus is portfolio management and financial planning. He has a BA from Stanford University as well as an MBA and a Masters of Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley. Dan moved to New Mexico in 1991 to conduct medical research as an Epidemiologist with the New Mexico Department of Health. In 1997, he returned to the private sector as a Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch in Santa Fe. In 2003, Dan joined Smith Barney CitiGroup which was purchased by Morgan Stanley in 2009 where he was a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Management Director until he moved to UBS in June 2015. Dan enjoys the great outdoors and traveling with Elizabeth, his wife, and their three sons. Dan is also an avid tennis player and wine collector.
