Join SAR for an in-person artist talk and a live Q&A with SAR’s 2022 Ron and Susan Dubin Native Artist Fellow, Hollis Chitto

Hollis Chitto (he/him/they/them) is a Mississippi Choctaw, Laguna Pueblo and Isleta Pueblo beadwork artist whose works combine tradition with sociopolitical commentaries. While at SAR, Hollis will embark on a soft-sculpture doll project that depicts a two-spirit couple in beaded and quilled regalia.

Join us as Hollis talks about his work and time as the 2022 Ron and Susan Dubin Native Artist Fellow. This event will take place in person at SAR and will be followed by a studio tour.
