Marge Lambert Residence

The Marge Lambert residence originally served as the stables of El Delirio, an eight-acre estate that Amelia Elizabeth and Martha White, two wealthy sisters from New York City, established in the 1920s. Amelia Elizabeth White, who served on SAR’s Board of Managers, left the bulk of her property to the School upon her death in 1972. Her legacy, however, did not include the stables, which SAR purchased in 1976.

The former stables have been thoroughly remodeled into a comfortable, one-bedroom Santa Fe-style home to accommodate the needs of visiting scholars. Office space and laundry facilities are available within walking distance. This fully-furnished residence is located across the street from the main campus.
