Born in 1942, Kabotie was raised in the Hopi village of Shungopavi. Kabotie passed away on October 23 in Flagstaff, AZ from complications of the H1N1 virus. |

Judy died after being struck by a drunk driver on Old Santa Fe Trail. Such tragedies often seem distant; this one is devastatingly intimate. |
