Karen A. G. Loud

Karen A. G. Loud is a retired Principal at Bessemer Trust Company, a firm that provides investment management and related services for their clients. Prior to joining Bessemer, Karen had been a Director and Senior Vice President at Christie’s, the international auction house, and a Senior Vice President and Investment Manager at U.S. Trust Company. From 1984–1990, she was Chairman of the Board of Directors of the U.S. Trust Company’s family of mutual funds.

Karen currently serves on the Board and is Treasurer of the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe and is a member of the Professional Advisory Council of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. She also serves on the Board of the Charles Evans Hughes Memorial Foundation. Previously, she was on the Board of the Santa Fe Opera, Radcliffe College (where she chaired the Investment Committee), and numerous other eleemosynary institutions.

Karen is a graduate of Radcliffe College and the Harvard-Radcliffe Program in Business Administration.

Karen lives in Santa Fe.
