Will Wilson (Navajo) is widely recognized for his unusual approach to the world of photography. His most recent project, “Critical Indigenous Photographic Exchange” (CIPX), depicts contemporary Native artists and art professionals via traditional nineteenth-century photographic techniques. In so doing, Wilson indigenizes the contemporary photographic exchange.
