Please join Marla Allison in the SAR Boardroom on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 5:30 to hear about her experience as the 2010 Eric and Barbara Dobkin Native Artist Fellow. Marla will be speaking about her work leading up to and during her tenure at SAR. The lecture will be followed by a visit to the Dubin Studio to view her newly created works.

Marla Allison is an emerging artist who has been inspired by Pueblo pottery from Laguna and Hopi as well as 20th-century artists such as Frieda Kahlo, Jean Michel Basquiat, and Pablo Picasso. She seamlessly combines different styles and media to create a body of work that is uniquely her own.
