The School for Advanced Research, Vilcek Foundation, and Museum of Indian Arts & Culture invite you to join us for a special preview for President’s Circle members of Grounded in Clay: The Spirit of Pueblo Pottery. Be one of the first to view this groundbreaking exhibition!

Join us for a light breakfast before hearing from Elysia Poon, IARC Director, with community curators Stephanie Riley, SAR’s Registrar for Cultural Projects, and Patrick Cruz, MIAC’s Curator of Collections, to learn about how this rare exhibition was curated by the Pueblo Pottery Collective, a group of over 60 individual members of 21 tribal communities. Then enjoy perusing the new exhibition displayed in the Masterpieces Gallery at your own pace, with community curators stationed at their chosen piece.

This opportunity is available to School for Advanced Research (SAR) President’s Circle and Legacy Circle only. To RSVP for this event, please contact Lindsay Archuleta at archuleta@sarsf.org or 505-954-7231.
