Visit the Indian Arts Research Center (IARC) while you are in town for Santa Fe’s Indian Market. The Center houses an outstanding collection of Native American art, including pottery, jewelry, textiles and clothing, paintings, basketry, and drums. With nearly 12,000 works, the IARC is home to artwork by Lucy Lewis (Acoma Pueblo), Pablita Velarde (Santa Clara Pueblo), Maria and Julian Martinez (San Ildefonso Pueblo), Mateo Romero (Cochiti Pueblo), Lonnie Vigil (Nambe Pueblo), and many other renowned artists. Docent-led tours of the open storage vaults give visitors an up-close and unique view of one of the world’s finest Native American art collections.

The cost for tours during the week of Indian Market vary from SAR’s regularly-priced public tours. Cost $20, free to SAR members and Native Americans.
