Judy Nix is a graduate of Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She has worked in development for much of her career including directing the Dallas Museum of Art expansion that raised $55 million. She created the Center for Community Cooperation, a nonprofit conference and meeting facility. She is currently the Development Director at the Santa Fe Waldorf School. In addition, she worked with the Northern New Mexico branch of SCORE – Volunteer Nonprofit Management Consultant and is a past Chair. She is a founding board member of the Santa Fe Film Arts, and served on the La Tierra Home Owners Association Board of Directors – 2003–2004. She is a member of the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, Museums of New Mexico, and SITE Santa Fe.
