Wasco basketmaker Pat Courtney Gold was a key figure in helping to revive the technique of full turn twining. She now works to constantly push the boundaries of Wasco basketry with her use of material and sense of design. While at SAR, Pat has been working on baskets and wall hangings inspired by the Southwest.

Join the School for Advanced Research on May 13 to hear about her experience as the 2009 Eric and Barbara Dobkin Native Artist Fellow. The evening will conclude with a visit to the Dubin Studio to see Pat’s work.

RSVP by Monday, May 11 to (505) 954-7205
