A small, good archive resides in the Library. Among the papers it houses are those of Kenneth Chapman, Rick Dillingham, and Amelia Elizabeth and Martha White, who had a significant influence on twentieth-century Santa Fe and the development of a market for Indian arts. The archive is open to resident scholars, staff, SAR members, and researchers.
Because the Library has only limited seating and other resources, we ask SAR members, visiting scholars, and researchers who wish to use the collections to contact the librarian in advance and identify the purpose of their visit. Archival materials are to be used in the building and may not be checked out.
