Jesse Dutton-Kenny

2016–2017

Jesse joins SAR from Boulder, CO where she had been working in the Anthropology collections at the University of Colorado Museum of Natural History. She received her M.S. in Museum and Field Studies from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a focus on collections management and an even more specific focus on basketry collections and contemporary Native arts. She also received a B.A. in Ethnic Studies, with a minor in Native American Studies from UC Berkeley. Jesse has worked at the Museum of Vertebrate Zoology, the Chabot Space and Science Center, the Oakland Museum of California, the Phoebe A. Hearst Museum of Anthropology, and the Mexican Museum in San Francisco. She is very excited to help care for the IARC collections and to be a part of the SAR community.
