In the early twentieth century, artists and writers were actively involved in Santa Fe’s cultural life, preserving and protecting its physical and artistic presence. It was the subject of their paintings, the backdrop of their lives, and where their legends were staged. The Historic Santa Fe Foundation grew out of early preservation efforts by Santa Fe’s artistic community and now owns nine properties. Elaine Bergman, Executive Director of the Historic Santa Fe Foundation, will take us on a virtual tour of Santa Fe’s historic homes.
