Two Former Directors of Scholar Programs Named as Finalists for the 2016 New Mexico-Arizona Book Awards

Dr. Nancy Owen Lewis, SAR Scholar-in-Residence, has been nominated in the History Book – New Mexico category for her book, Chasing the Cure in New Mexico: Tuberculosis and the Quest for Health (Museum of New Mexico Press, 2016).

Dr. Nicole Taylor, Associate Professor, Department of Anthropology, Texas State University, has been nominated in the Anthropology/Archaeology category for her book, Schooled on Fat: What Teens Tell Us about Gender, Body Image and Obesity (Routledge, 2016).
