Art in Our Lives: Native Women Artists in Dialogue shares the experiences of a group of eleven Native women artists from diverse backgrounds and ages who spoke about the roles, responsibilities and commitments in their lives. The artists participated in three seminars at SAR’s Indian Arts Research Center and covered topics such as home/place, transgression/boundaries, art as healing/art as struggle, pain/joy, art practice/work, and survival/colonization. Join us for a most interesting discussion of selections from this work.
